On this planet, there are few magical places blessed by the Gods like Cape Sim! 20 years ago, we fell madly in love with this place on the Moroccan Coast, located just 15 km from Essaouira: a breathtaking view of the ocean and the bay of Sidi Kaouki, a small village of authentic fishermen on the southern slopes of the Cape, deserted sandy beaches stretching to infinity, dune fields of indescribable beauty, generous sunshine and temperatures that are always mild even in the middle of winter, a paradise for surfers and hikers....
In 2023, the young Aboubaker ("Bouba" of his nickname), offered us to settle in one of his houses in the village of Ouassen, on the summit of Cap Sim, which he has completely redeveloped. We have taken up residence there, sharing time with France and Marrakech. We will be delighted to be able to share this little paradise from time to time with people likely to appreciate, understand and respect this exceptional and wild place. We don't want to make a "business" of it, but simply share it occasionally with people we know or recommend. The place is too specific, preserved and quiet in the middle of a family neighborhood, to bring too many people there and risk welcoming people who might not appreciate this place where we live away from time, in the middle of a local population strong in its traditions. The commune of Ouassen or Ouassane (200 inhabitants) is located on the southern slope of Cap Sim, with its back to the North-East Alysée winds, with a view overlooking the magnificent bay of Sidi Kaouki. The completely wild beach is below, about 200-300 m away, and can be reached in a few minutes via small paths in the sand. You can stay there for whole days without seeing a soul, sometimes a few fishermen and a few surfers…. Magnificent hikes can be done all around, towards Agadir, Essaouira, or towards the end of Cap Sim.
Dar Bouba is located at the end of the small village of Ouassane, in a small and quiet family Douar (neighborhood) of around ten houses occupied by the same large family of fishermen and farmer-breeders. It is accessed by a tarmac road which crosses the village, then by taking a motorable track for around fifty meters inside the property. The atmosphere is agricultural, with goats, sheep, cows, chickens and camels.The neighborhood is Olympically calm, punctuated only by the crowing of the rooster and the trade winds...
Dar Bouba is a 156 m2 house located in a magnificent site, with a breathtaking panoramic view of the ocean and the immense bay of Sidi Kaouki. Large living room (36m2) with lounge and fireplace opening onto the ocean and the terrace through large bay windows, two terraces on 2 levels, high table for 6-8 people, fully equipped kitchen (hob, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine -linen, Nespresso coffee maker, dishes) and open to the living room and the ocean.
Dar Bouba can accommodate up to 6 people in its three rooms: the panoramic room (23m2, queensize bed) with a magnificent view of the ocean and a private terrace below the house, the Blue room (21m2, 2 single beds ) and the Red room (17m2, Queensize bed). Each room has its own bathroom with showers and WC.
- Surface : 156 m2 of living space and 100 m2 of terraces furnished with outdoor furniture and planted with plants.
- Stay (36 m2): Sofas, coffee tables, fireplace, Sonos speakers, bay windows overlooking the ocean.
- Fully equipped kitchen: gas hob, refrigerator with freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, oven, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, kitchen utensils, crockery for 8 people, high table 200X80cm for 6-8 people, bar and bar stools.
- The panoramic room(23 m2): Independent bedroom with panoramic view of the ocean and bay, queen-size bed, storage furniture, bathroom with shower and WC, private terrace, Nexpresso coffee maker and kettle, Sonos speaker.
- The Blue Room (21 m2): Twins. Two single beds 90X190cm, wardrobe, bathroom with shower and WC.
- The Red Room (17m2): 17m2. Queensize bed, wardrobe, bathroom with shower and WC.
- Others :Wifi Internet, Sonos speakers,washing machine. Non-smoking apartment.
